Why Seniors in December?
Perth Summers are hot! When our pets age they often subtly develop illnesses like liver and kidney disease which, when combined with loss of mobility from arthritis, can put them at serious risk of heat stroke in warmer weather.
Our goal this summer is to identify which pets are at risk and address these issues before the hot weather really kicks in to avoid potential catastrophe.
Maybe your pet needs a particular medication to help get their health ready to cope with the warmer weather, or maybe they simply need a tweak to their diet - either way, being prepared may help to keep them healthy and safe over the coming months.
