Fran  qualified at Murdoch University in 1999.  Other than 2 years working in the UK, she has spent the  remaining years working in Perth in small animal practice.   She loves cats and dogs equally, and gets a huge amount of joy from building a rapport with her clients and patients alike.

Fran had a dream to provide her local community with a family friendly vet practice - somewhere where people would enjoy coming, confident in the knowledge that they and their pet family will always be welcome and where they will always receive honest, personalized and professional veterinary care.

In 2011, this dream started to come true with Vogue Vets in Joondanna - in 2019, she expanded their services to include animal rehab & physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, traditional chinese medicine and traditional western medicine at Vogue Vets & Wellness Centre

Fran regularly updates her continuing professional development and has recently completed courses and received further Certificates in Canine Sports Medicine, Canine Aqua Therapies, Introduction to Canine Rehabilitation (University of Tennessee), Cruciate Rehabilitation, Therapeutic Handling for Canine Rehabilitation, Canine II: Physical Agents & Electrotherapeutic Modalities (University of Tennessee), Canine III: Therapeutic Exercise Prescription/Aquatic Therapy (University of Tennessee).

Courtney joined our practice a couple of years ago and has been in small animal practice in Perth for two years prior to that.

Courtney is cheerful with a warm and bubbly personality, and she is always the first in line to greet your pets whenever she is in the room.  Her enthusiasm and passion for nursing are a great asset to our team, and her empathy and work ethic make her an invaluable member of the Vogue Vets team.   She enjoys surgical nursing as well as nurse consults, and has recently done post graduate studies in hydrotherapy.

Her friendly and welcoming nature has been a great fit for our hydro patients, many of whom love their sessions so much that they can't run through the front door fast enough!

Courtney has a cheeky and gorgeous little cat called Nina.

Gaya (RVN) + Certified Small Animal Rehab Therapist

Gaya (1).jpg

After a long awaited wait due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, Gaya joined us after working for several years in Singapore.

Gaya's love and passion for animals started at a young age and she made her first step in an animal related career at the tender age of 13.  She first started in the area of pet grooming and then decided to take things to the next level by coming to Perth to study and achieve a Cert III in Animal Studies, progressing onto a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Gaya quickly developed a keen interest in trying to better manage her patient's pain levels alongside a desire to minimize the need for medications, and she began her journey in alternative medicines.  Gaya's commitment to this form of pain management has seen her obtain further qualifications in Myofunctional Massage Therapy, a Diploma in Small Animal Physiotherapy in College of Animal Physiotherapy in London, and a Diploma in Small Animal Hydrotherapy in London.

With her many years of experience in the veterinary industry, as well as her additional skills in animal pain management, Gaya is an asset to our rehab practice here at Vogue Vets, and we look forward to helping her achieve her lifelong goals.
